Sharon Hulce
Sharon Hulce is celebrating her 23rd year in Executive search. Sharon founded ERG because she realized that many businesses were hiring sound technical “resumes”, but not really understanding the emotional intelligence side of the hire and how that person would integrate into the company. This is the area that ERG excels at and our placement retention rate proves this.

Sharon is a member of Pinnacle Society, The Premier Consortium of Industry-Leading Recruiters in America. Never being one to shy away from new experiences, she was a “Boss” on Season Five of the Top Recruiter reality film in 2015. She is passionate about her community and demonstrates this through ERG’s gift of pro-bono searches to all local not-for-profits. She is active on many community boards and is proud to consistently be in the Top Ten Billing Owners' group. Sharon was the 2019 recipient of the Walter. L Rugland Community Service Award. This award recognizes an individual who over many years has positively impacted the quality of life in the Fox Cities through their leadership.

Sharon was selected as a Forbes Author in May of 2019. Her book “A Well Done Professional Midlife Crisis” will be available in January 2020.

Sharon is a sought after speaker and is currently working and speaking on Pinnacle Talent – retention, empowerment and succession planning for employees and employers.
Jenny Bonikowske
Vice President - Administration / Executive Assistant
Jenny Bonikowske has over fifteen years in the Executive Search business. She currently manages the office/IT support at Employment Resource Group along with her duties as Executive Administrator for Sharon Hulce. Her knowledge of the business is unparalleled and she is instrumental in the short-list process of each client.

"I enjoy working behind the scenes to make sure every client and candidate has the information needed to successfully complete their search". Organization and multi-tasking are Jenny's strengths. Tapping into these skills, Jenny provides outstanding service to colleagues, clients and candidates as an efficient and effective resource for information at any step during the search process.

Jenny has been married to husband Mike for 32 years. They enjoy traveling and like to travel to a new place each year. They have two adult children Danielle and Adam.
Dawn Sonnenberg
Corporate Trainer
Dawn brings high energy and creativity to the ERG team along with 25 years of recruiting industry experience. As a Certified Staffing Professional, she loves helping companies grow with having the right staff along with helping candidates get to that next step in their career progression. Passion and persistence helps Dawn never give up. Being a well seasoned veteran recruiter, Dawn enjoys teaching and mentoring other recruiters to be successful.

When not at work, Dawn continues with that “creative hat” doing DIY projects, enjoys entertaining with family and friends, drinking a good pinot noir, watching movies, spending time working in her flower garden, and her favorite is long walks with her Belgium Shepherd and best friend (husband).
Jeff Aspenson
Vice President Business Development – Construction Division
Jeff is our resident expert in all things construction. Jeff worked for sixteen years as a sales consultant in the construction industry. He has vast knowledge working with general contractors, subcontractors, project managers, architects, superintendents, etc. Similar to the people he worked with in the industry; Jeff understands that hard work, integrity, truth and honesty are keys to success.

Jeff uses his down-to-earth, honest approach with people to help them take the next steps in their career goals. By having a sincere interest in making a difference in people’s lives, he has helped to place people in new positions that have been life changing for them.

When Jeff is not recruiting talent at ERG, he enjoys time spent with his family, golf, riding motorcycle and cheering on the Green Bay Packers and Badger sports teams.
Matt Platten
Vice President / Sales Manager
Matt is a very seasoned veteran to the recruiting industry. He prides himself in providing the best talent to his clients in order to assist them in building world class teams. This is accomplished through a consultative approach that not only looks at the skills required but accompanying them with the right cultural fit. His work experience in a corporate recruiting environment has given him an expansive knowledge about the unique needs of companies both large and small.

For fun, Matt is a workout freak and when the weather is nice you will find him out on the golf course, fishing on Lake Winnebago with his pops or at his in-law's cottage on Wolf Lake! He and his wife Andrea enjoy spending quiet time together.
Cara Bartel
Managing Director
Cara is very excited to be a part of the recruiting industry. Being able to find the best talent for her clients while helping individuals advance their career is a passion of hers. She prides herself in getting to know exactly what skills the client needs, as well as helping her candidates accomplish their future career goals.
For fun, Cara enjoys making soap and bath products. In her free time you will find her at her in-laws cabin, going out to see her husband’s band (he’s a drummer), volunteering in the community and spending time with her three children. Cara and her husband Jon enjoy going to see live music whenever possible!
Cassie McDonald

Cassie is a perfect fit for this business! She previously spent her career working with companies and individuals on finding their passions through treasured donations. These skills translate well into Cassie taking the time to get to know each client and candidate to find the best fit for each, which makes her a true champion for correct culture placements! Her “heart piece” is exactly what makes Cassie an outstanding recruiter! For fun Cassie enjoys reading, karate, baking and spending time with family and friends. You can find her regularly traveling out-of-state as well as enjoying the fantastic community events that the Fox Valley has to offer!
Jean Blahnik
Director of Recruitment - Construction
Jean brings a lot of great energy to the recruiting industry and our construction practice. Her energy shines through as she is getting to know her candidates. She has a definite can-do attitude which reflects greatly on her desire to help individuals advance their careers. Jean truly takes pride in finding a perfect fit for individuals as well as the clients.

For fun, Jean enjoys spending time with her family. She likes home projects both inside and outside and she loves seeing the end result. Jean spent time fostering dogs until Bella, her pug, chose to never leave. Now in the evening when it is quiet, she reads a book with Bella by her side.
Chelsea Hinderman

Chelsea has been in sales and recruiting for several years. In an executive search role within the service division, Chelsea’s goal is to truly understand every candidate she interacts with to get the “full picture” - all the way from their work history to where their true passions lie and how she can help get them there!

Spending time with her boyfriend Chris and her family are on the top of her list for fun. She loves trying new restaurants, being up north (kayaking) and meeting new people – Chelsea never meets a stranger! A recent passion the past couple years has been gardening and landscaping projects around the house.
Laina Wydeven
Director of First Impressions
Laina is amazing at first impressions!! If you call ERG, say hello – you’ll know it’s her because she is so friendly – we constantly get compliments on this!!

Laina helps provide administrative support to ensure proficient office operations. She also supports the team through a variety of responsibilities including researching, editing and preparing presentations.

In her spare time, Laina loves reading and drawing. She is a social butterfly, has never met a stranger and loves spending time with friends and family.
Tom Fritz
Social Media Specialist
Tom Fritz is a resident expert on all things technology. Tom has managed the founding and growth of many successful Social Media campaigns. Tom wears many hats at ERG besides social media. He manages all the hardware and software along with assisting in researching market data for ERG’s clients and candidates.

Tom takes music very seriously. He is a five instrument player and on any given Saturday night you can find him playing out with a local group. Between his love for the open road and his passion for the outdoors, Tom has no trouble staying busy both inside and outside of work.
Allison Eggler
Research Specialist
Allison is our local Research Specialist and jokingly is referred to as “better than the CIA”. She spends her days as a member of ERG’s Admin team; searching for the high quality, professional and qualified candidates that clients have come to expect from ERG.

Allison and her husband both serve in the military. She serves as a Lieutenant in the Army Reserves as Personnel Management Officer and appreciates the great opportunity she’s had to serve her country thus far. She takes pride in utilizing her leadership and interpersonal skills to ensure that her soldiers are always trained and prepared for anything.

In their free time, Allison and her husband enjoy hiking, going to the movies and spending time with their families now that they’re back in Wisconsin!
