Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations and P&L for the Multi-Family group and provides strategic direction to successfully achieve the group’s success and overall strategic goals.
  • Responsible for managerial and administrative aspects of the business unit. This includes being proficient in estimating, scheduling, quality control, design review and coordination, cost reporting, safety, proposal preparation and leading the design team.
  • Build and implement effective marketing initiatives, in conjunction with the senior leadership, to drive positive revenue growth.
  • Build a bench of strong managers and superintendents that strengthen the business units success.
  • Develop and nurture effective and lasting customer/client relationships.
  • Oversee the buyout process and selection of subcontractors.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers and Superintendents to ensure safety, quality control and schedule.
  • Conduct progress meetings with owners and the design/construction team.
  • Accurately assess profit/loss responsibility and current financial status for the market sector.
  • Deliver top and bottom-line results.
  • Adhere to OSHA and company safety requirements, hold team accountable to maintain high safety standards and promote the safety and security of employees.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Necessary Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in the design-build, Multi-Family or related industries performing similar primary responsibilities.
  • Strong leadership and management skills in directing an organization, department or group.
  • Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
