Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with the Credit Union’s goals and objectives.
- Lead, guide, and manage a team of marketing professionals in executing marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Collaborate with other departments to create and promote products and services that meet member needs and drive growth.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, member needs, and the competitive landscape, and adjust the marketing strategy as necessary.
- Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and a strong return on investment.
- Oversee the Credit Union’s branding efforts, ensuring a consistent and strong brand image across all channels.
- Implement and manage digital marketing strategies, including website, social media, email marketing, and online advertising.
- Work with public relations and community outreach efforts to enhance the Credit Union’s image and presence in the community.
- Track and analyze the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and campaigns, and report on marketing performance to the executive team.
- Ensure all marketing activities comply with legal and regulatory guidelines.
Necessary Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field. A Master’s degree is preferred, but not required.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within financial services or banking/Credit Unions.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing strategies.
- Strong understanding of traditional and digital marketing channels.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
- Proficiency with marketing technology and tools, including CRM systems and digital marketing platforms.
- Strong budget management skills.
- High level of creativity and ability to think outside the box.
The Director of Marketing is responsible for overseeing the credit union’s overall marketing efforts. This includes developing and implementing strategic marketing plans to promote the Credit Union’s products and services, building member relationships, driving growth, and enhancing the Credit Union’s brand. The Director of Marketing will lead a team of marketing professionals and collaborate closely with other departments to ensure the Credit Union’s marketing strategy aligns with its business objectives.
